David is the Licensee and Relationships Manager at AMA (WA) and continues to practice as a qualified financial adviser.

David is well known for his ability to maintain and establish strong ongoing relationships with his clients and is motivated to help each and every one of his clients create, maintain and protect their wealth. In order to do this, David formed Hartley Financial in order to provide a holistic finance service to his clients.

During his career, David has chaired several industry bodies and events. David has been in the banking industry for 35 years plus which has helped him develop a strong skillset and fostered his ability to truly understand what his clients need.

David was the co-founder of Prestige Mortgages, a mortgage broking firm, and was previously the Managing Director of Mortgage Wisdom Pty Ltd, with a team of 40 brokers.
In 2015, David formed Tax & Wealth Pty Ltd which is the final piece in the puzzle to offer a fully integrated Financial Service business.

David holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, a  Diploma of Financial Services/ Mortgage Broking and has successfully completed The Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam. David is a member of the Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals (AIOFP) and Mortgage and Financial Association of Australia (MFAA).
